How this is calculated
Price per sqft is the total price divided by the floor area. If you enter a market reference, the tool shows the percentage difference and flags the deal as below, at or above market. "At market" is treated as within plus or minus 3 percent of the reference. For commercial assets, make sure your area basis (gross floor area, net lettable area or built-up) matches the basis behind the reference rate, or the comparison will mislead.
